Directed first feature film Middlemen (2000) in 12 days. Landed on TV series "Wiseguy" (1987) as trainee assistant director while completing film studies. Recipient of inaugural Directors Guild Kickstart Program for _'August Winds' (1994)_, a 27-minute short film that dealt with war's legacy, survivor guilt and the living (and dead) ghosts of the holocaust on the eve of the atomic age. Experience as 1st A.D. proved pivotal in the scheduling, prepping and shooting of Middlemen. Approached the logistical aspect as one would any other over-scheduled, impossibly ambitious, anthology episodic: follow the plan, be prepared to adapt, and roll with the punches. Filming completed twelve days later. Middlemen is his first feature.
